Paul Conrad/The Aspen Times Nicole Hosp of Austria crashes a gate at the top of 5th Avenue Sunday morning Dec. 9, 2007, during her first run of the Apsen Winternational FIS World Cup Slalom on Aspen Mountain. Hosp took the gold with a total time of 1:34.60, 1.19 seconds ahead of 2nd place winner Tanja Poutiainen of Finland.
